What is Elbow Pain?
Elbow pain is pain caused by diseases of the anatomical structures around the elbow. It can occur as a result of trauma, or it can be caused by nerve compression, intra-articular cartilage diseases, or periarticular tendon diseases.
Why Does Elbow Pain Occur?
It can occur as a result of fracture, dislocation, or soft tissue trauma to the elbow.
Nerve compressions around the elbow can cause neuropathic pain. Conditions like tennis elbow and golfer's elbow can develop due to overuse. The causes of elbow pain vary in different age groups.
How to Relieve Elbow Pain?

More movement is needed in cases of stiff elbow where elbow movement is restricted. In cubital tunnel syndrome, where the ulnar nerve is compressed, splinting treatment that keeps the elbow in extension is quite beneficial.
